1946 Antique Book in Fair Condition "The Complete Poems of Robert Service" published by Dodd, Mead & Company in New York 1946. Robert W. Service (1874-1958) was a British-Canadian poet and writer, often called the "Bard of the Yukon". He is best known for his poems about the Klondike Gold Rush, which capture the adventure and spirit of the Canadian North. This collection includes some of his most famous works, such as "The Cremation of Sam McGee" and "The Shooting of Dan McGrew." The book measures 5.5"Lx2"Wx8"H. The age of this book does come with flaws: the spine is discolored and shows wear; two pages in the Content sections has words underlined.
