We plant our seeds indoors in March
in terrariums in our Bay window.
We transplant our seedlings outdoors in May--
water daily as sunflowers need so much water!
By July we begin harvesting our Brown Eyed Girl variety
of Sunflower petals--M Helianthus Yellow -- and dry them with care.
This is a five month process to grow these sunny delights---
please be aware that these take a lot of time and gardening love XO.
Petals shrink to 75% of their original size when dried.
