Catch-22 by Joseph Heller - Hardcover Book with dustjacket - Fair Condition
This is an early printing of the Book Club Edition - published by Simon and Schuster in 1961
This copy is in fair condition (considering the fact it's 65 years now, it's understandable). The dustjacket is intact, but it has quite a few tears (see photos).
The book itself has spotting on the outside of the pages (opposite the spine) like it was housed in a humid location for quite some time. The boards (front and back covers) have discolorations at the top and bottom...again this looks to be from being in a humid location). The inside of the front cover has glue residue (looks to be a removed bookplate). The spine is getting a little loose. The pages inside are clean though.
This is a vintage copy of one of the most important novels of the 20th Century. Catch 22 is a satirical war novel. This novel was made into a Mike Nichols film in 1970 and a miniseries in 2019.
