** The race track uses small interlocking parts, or tabs, to connect the pieces together. We were able to build the track and race the cars PERFECTLY, despite the few missing tabs. We highly recommend using 2 people to build and break down the track as directed. The racecars run by using 4 magnetic strips which must maintain contact with the track at all times. We found they work best by spreading the front 2 strips forward and the back 2 strips facing backwards. Once constant contact is achieved, the racecars will run at maximum velocity.
