Vintage book from the 1960s, "Voix du Siecle", edited by Eunice Clark Smith and published in 1960 by Harcourt Brace & World Inc. It is a collection of poems and stories in french for the intermediate college student. It measures about 7.75" x 5.25" and is 276 pages including a vocabulary.
Includes stories and poems by Guillaume Apollinaire, Charles Baudelaire, Jean Cocteau, Jean Giraudoux, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Albert Camus, Jean-Paul Sartre, Arthur Rimbaud, Paul Claudel, Andre Gide, and Simone Weil
Excellent vintage condition. Just typical signs of life and some yellowing to the pages. There are some notes within by a previous owners, and the cover does have bent corners.
