1970s-80s navy blue turtleneck by Aspen Skiwear. Great for layering, UNISEX
The label style with the green tree logo and "Aspen Skiwear" text is consistent with late 70s to mid-1980s production. The tree was their signature during this era.
Here we have a 44 inch chest as measured.
There is a small run in the fabric on the back of one shoulder (shown), and one small pull in the body, both hidden when layered.
The run strongly suggests this is a vintage synthetic knit. These ski turtlenecks were almost always synthetic for moisture-wicking. The fine-gauge knit construction is prone to runs when snagged, just like hosiery. This was standard base-layer fabric for the era.
