Vintage Necklace Rosary from the Callisto Catacombes Rome With Real Seed Beads

From the Rome catacombes, this Catholic rosary is metal, with a wood cross embedded. Jesus is also metal, plated silver? All the metal, except the chain connector loop, is non reactive to a magnet. Under a loupe's magnification, noted the cross is split where the feet are attached. The lttle screw on the base of the cross opens the hinged cross top where travelers can keep paper, soil, flowers, or other natural catacomb terra inside. There's something like dirt or soil inside this cross. The back is etched, as pictured. I have not cleaned or polished this necklace rosary.
