This is a rare bolt of Japanese-made Kurume Kasuri fabric.
Originally, this fabric was used to make domestically produced women's "monpe" (work pants) for many years.
It was purchased directly from the manufacturer and was quite expensive even at the time.

This item is unused, so there are no creases, wrinkles, or pinholes.

Because it is a properly woven Kasuri fabric,
the pattern appears clearly on the back as well.
(Unlike inexpensive printed fabrics)

It was stored in the manufacturing factory.
Therefore, there is a slight odor, but
dust and debris have been removed, and it will be washed with a simple hot water and water wash,
and shipped with a simple ironing (household).
