The exterior features a dense "cracked ice and plum blossom" (冰梅纹) background, framing medallions with the iconic "double lions playing with a ball" (双狮戏球) motif—a traditional Chinese symbol of prosperity, harmony, and good fortune. The borders are accented with a key-fret (回纹) pattern, further emphasizing its cultural heritage.
