Once upon a time, a coat like this would have swept through the grand lobbies of theaters and hotels, catching the glimmer of chandeliers on its faceted button and turning heads with its quiet elegance.
This mid-century swing coat is made from inky black boucle wool, with graceful gathers falling from sculptural soutache swirls at each shoulder. A single oversized jet-style button closes the neck, allowing the rest of the coat to drape with effortless movement.
Its in great antique condition. There is normal wear as expected. Underarm lining has some wear, but nothing that takes away from its beauty, in fact, its homage to its glamous owner. ♡
