This is a vintage Pumba plush released shortly after the debut of the original Lion King movie, it's a 2002 release.
I'm also including an additional bonus vintage mini Pumba plush.
See photos, all the plush are in great condition! The thing with this plush is that the bugs often got lost and misplaced, so it's very tough to find complete with the bugs.
Also, there have been multiple variants of this plush over the years and this was the earliest one that came with three loose bugs.
There is a more modern Disney store variant and another variation that comes with bugs that are attached to the plush by a string and they all differ slightly.
It's very difficult to find the 2002 release complete with the 3 loose bugs!
Unit is untested, but it looks like the battery port needs to be cleaned up a little bit. Considering the good condition of the plush, I do not think it would be hard to get it working if the battery port was cleaned.
