Authentic antique miniature beaded purse dating to the late Victorian to early Edwardian era (late 1800s–early 1900s). Features purple velvet panels on the front and back with hand-sewn clear glass seed beads and small multicolor accent beads. The side panels appear to be early cotton or linen fabric, typical of antique purse construction.
**per previous owner this was made by the Iroquois tribe. However. No paperwork for proof.
This is a very small purse, likely intended as a coin purse, dance purse, or novelty accessory rather than daily use.
Condition reflects age and use. There is bead loss, loose threads, fraying, and wear to the velvet. Interior lining shows staining and age wear. Structure is intact but fragile. Sold as found. Please review all photos carefully.
