From my collection, I'm offering a 1990s US-made Levi's 501 with particularly impressive fading.
The patch is missing, but that allows you to fully appreciate the overwhelming presence of the denim itself. This is a piece with a superb finish, where the tough fabric unique to American-made denim of the time has matured. You simply can't achieve this kind of quality with current processing techniques.

Button back stamp "532": This stamp is highly sought after, indicating production at the Knoxville, Tennessee factory. Items from this factory are known for their durability and the sharp, contrasting fades they develop.
Crisp Honeycombs and Whiskers: As shown in the photos (photo 4), the "honeycombs" behind the knees and the "whiskers" around the waist have set in artistically.
Golden Size: Actual measurements are approximately 33 inches for the waist and 32 inches for the inseam. The line from the hem is also beautiful, and it's the perfect size balance for modern styling.
