Extremely Rare Levi's 03501-01 Philippines Made Cone Denim XXX7 Denim

● Product Description

This is a pair of "Levi's 03501-01" jeans, made in the Philippines, currently a hot topic among denim enthusiasts.

Features a back button marked 359, and was manufactured in 2006.

These jeans use XXX7 denim, a denim fabric produced by the now-defunct Cone Mills.

The booklet that came with the jeans at the time of sale stated:
"XXX7 denim is a special denim created in the image of the deep indigo color of the 1933 501XX, which is preserved in the SF headquarters archive.
The biggest feature is that it reproduces the weathered and oxidized color that comes from wearing the jeans for many years without washing them. Similar to XX17, the warp threads that make up XXX7 denim are a mix of four different thicknesses of yarn to reproduce the unevenness of the time, and the weft threads also use Cone Mills' special uneven yarn, Amsler ringspun.
The weight of the XXX7 denim itself is also a slightly lighter denim, 11.75oz unwashed and 13oz after washing, linking to the history of Levi's, which started with 9oz, rather than the 14oz of today.
The XXX7 denim is light and very easy to wear, and the more you wear it, the more character it develops. It is a special denim that condenses the history and tradition of Levi's into one."

There is no noticeable damage, and I think it is in mint condition for vintage jeans.

The color is dark navy, and I think you can still enjoy the aging process.
