THE INOUE BROTHERS
Founded in 2004 by Japanese brothers Satoshi and Kiyoshi Inoue, born in Copenhagen, Denmark. As the brand name suggests, it was established by the Inoue brothers. The production area is the high Andes of Peru and Bolivia in South America, and the brand is famous for its knitwear using alpaca fiber (hereinafter referred to as "alpaca wool") that lives there.

A particularly fine and rare material among alpaca. Alpaca is a camelid animal that is raised in the vast grasslands of the South American Andes Mountains at an altitude of 4,000 to 5,000 meters, in a harsh environment where the temperature difference between day and night can be more than 35°C. The hair that can withstand the summer heat of 40°C and the winter cold of -20°C is very durable and has excellent properties. It has a silky luster and a soft touch, is about half the weight of wool and about 8 times warmer, and has water repellency while also being excellent in moisture absorption and diffusion, so it controls the humidity inside the clothing. The reason for its high heat retention is that there are fine cavities in each strand of hair. Also, unlike wool, it does not felt, so 100% alpaca knitwear is less likely to pill and is easy to care for.
