These are Levi's 501s from the 1980s. This is a transitional model from around the time the red ear was discontinued and the regular model was introduced.
The model number 1501 is assigned to models with a W36 waist or larger, and although this pair has been hemmed, the inseam is still a long 86cm.
The color remaining is about 40%, and it has the fading typical of 1980s regular denim. The patch has been removed.
Good-sized 80s items are becoming scarce, and I think this is a rare find with no damage at all.
