Vintage Jewelart Filigree Cross Necklace | Grape Rhinestones & Crystal

Striking vintage gold-tone filigree cross necklace featuring deep grape-colored imported glass rhinestones in a raised center cluster. The cross measures approx. 3” x 2¼” and hangs from a 26” chain, allowing it to be worn long or layered.

This piece was originally produced as a vintage costume jewelry cross and presented in a Jewelart Originals box marked “Imported Stone.” The grape-tone stones are consistent with mid-century Czech/Bohemian glass rhinestones, prized for their rich color and faceting.

I carefully artisan-enhanced this cross by adding five vintage clear crystal rhinestones, one set into each floral element of the design. These clear stones were salvaged from an unsalvageable vintage piece and thoughtfully preserved until the right project — chosen specifically to complement the warm gold tone and grape glass without overpowering the original design.
