A lovely vintage hardback copy of The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, with the beautiful original illustrations by Charles Robinson. This is an older Heinemann edition and feels really nice in the hand – proper old-school book, not a modern reprint. Pages are clean and complete and it’s been well looked after for its age. The original dust jacket is included. The inside price corner has been clipped (see photo), which is quite common with older books, and there’s some light age-related wear overall, as you’d expect from a vintage copy. A great edition for anyone who loves classic children’s books, illustrated books, or just wants a nicer copy than the modern paperbacks.
