This gorgeous plate from Japan features two peacocks in a beautiful bamboo grove with sakura (cherry) and chrysanthemum blossoms. Exquisite detailing with gold outlining. The interesting hexagonal shape has corner indents and a gold gild rim.
The kanji maker's mark on the back indicates it was made by Yamaji Japan, Made in the 1970s or 80s.
Beautiful collector's item.
